«Today I gave 120%, I got a ninth position that is not the top but it is good as we kept the third position in the world standing and we prepare for Valencia now at the best to get the maximum. We come back to Europe with determination and aware of our possibilities». This is what Tony Arbolino said after yesterday’s race at Sepang International circuit.

Seventeen burning laps in which Tony Arbolino and Romano Fenati tried to gain as many positions as possible, by starting from the seventh row.

For Arbolino it was important to keep the third position in the world standing and so it was: he closed ninth behind Canet, second in the general classification, 15 points far.

After a good start, Romano Fenati lost the contact with the top group following a couple of crashes in front of him. The rider from Ascoli crossed the finishing line eleventh.

«It was a hard race, I started well and I tried to gain positions. – Fenati said – A couple of crashes in front of me made me lose the contact with the group ahead and with that gap I couldn’t come back ahead».
