Amazing start in the Grand Prix of Czech Republic for the Snipers team with both riders, respectively first and second for half race.
In the weekend of his nineteen birthday, Tony Arbolino got the pole position (the second this year, after the Mugello one) and the third position in the race. The rider from Garbagnate is fourth in the general standing with 93 points. Romano Fenati found the determination and the top of the race but the deterioration of the tyre cut him off the fight for the podium. Closes the race in eighth place.
Here are their post-race comments:
Tony Arbolino: « It was an amazing and difficult race, with lots of overtakes from the beginning to the end. It was not easy to manage the deterioration of the tyre as, after only 6 laps, the rear slipped and the front closed a little bit. This penalized me in the last two laps, where I had difficulties in keeping the contact with the first two riders. I am happy anyway of my weekend and the goal, from now to the end of the season, is to be constant and continue working without losing the motivation ».
Romano Fenati: « We did a good start of the race, I was feeling good with the bike. Unfortunately, from half race I suffered the deterioration of the tyre that made me lose positions. For sure we could get more, due to the good job done in the weekend, and I take the opportunity to thank my team that allowed me to exploit at the best the potentialities of our bike ».
