In MotoGP class, the Australian Jack Miller won again at Le Mans, while the incredible rookie Raul Fernandez cut the finish line as first in Moto2 class. In Moto3 class the winner is Sergi Garcia in a crazy wet race.

The Honda Team Asia, equipped with the Mivv Exhausts, lived a strange week end. Unfortunately, yesterday, Yuki Kunii broke his collarbone and missed the race today. The Japanese rider has flown to Barcelona to do a medical check. Andi Farid Izdihar was incredible during the warm up. Under the rain, he obtained the best time! In the wet conditions the Indonesian rider can be very fast. But the race was strange with the asphalt from very wet to slightly wet and a lot of falls. After an intelligent race, the Indonesian rider achieved a historic result by becoming the first rider from his country to score points in the Moto3 class.

At Le Mans, the Honda Team Asia has lined up another young Japanese rider, Takuma Matsuyama but the weather conditions weren’t easy for a rider to his first participation as a wild card. He crashed on lap four.

Takuma Matsuyama #32 – DNF

“First of all, I would like to thank Honda Team Asia to give me the chance to be here. I learned a lot during this weekend together with the best riders in the world. I have done a good start about the race, and I was riding in 16th position, but I crashed. The conditions of the track were terrible, extremely slippery. I would have liked to finish the race, but, in any case, I’ve accumulated a valuable experience for the future.”

Andi Farid Izdihar #19: P15

“This is my first point in World Championship. I’m so happy to get to this point, especially on this track where I always struggled a lot. From CEV in 2017 or last year in Moto2, the result at Le Mans has always been a disaster. This weekend also, I crashed in every practice. But finally, during the race, I tried to be focused on how to manage it. My target was to finish the race. This morning I led the warmup under heavy rain, and there I’ve seen that I was ready to fight. That is the best I can do here. The most important for me is that I’ve seen the result of the work we’re doing, improving every time.”

Hiroshi Aoyama – Team Manager

“The race condition was from wet to dry, something complicated for everybody. Andi follows exactly what we advise him. To be quiet initially, and after to pass the critical moment, try to push, gaining positions. He stayed on the bike until the end, overtaking some riders on the last lap and scoring a deserved first point in his career. It is also the first point of an Indonesian rider in the category. We’ve been working hard for that, and he deserved it. About Matsuyama, the weather conditions weren’t easy for a rider on his first participation as a wild card. We wanted that him finishes the race, but he crashed during the race. He needs to get more experience. Yuki missed the race after to broke a collarbone yesterday, and we hope he will come back as soon as possible.”

GP PRO CARBON

Technical craftsmanship, extreme precision on couplings and attractive sound are the main features of this compact muffler with a new essential design. The exhaust outlet pipe is completed, as is often seen on the track, by a removable protective grille that hides the dB-killer.

GP PRO is ideal for sports bikes, but nothing prevents you from installing it on other high-performance motorcycles like the latest super-naked bikes. This muffler sports the characteristic Mivv logo created by laser technology.
